Case Study: Football West's Official IT Provider

With the development of the Sam Kerr Football Centre, Football West faced the challenge of updating its IT infrastructure and ensuring cyber security readiness. The scope included providing support for 60 staff, managing hardware upgrades, and facilitating a smooth office relocation to the new centre. 

Additionally with the increasing threat landscape in cyber space, there was a pressing need to fortify the organisation’s cyber security defences to protect sensitive data and maintain operational integrity.

Sharp EIT Solutions assumed the position of Official IT provider for Football West, taking responsibility for managing IT support, facilitating hardware upgrades, and supplying essential office equipment such as printers and copiers to the new Sam Kerr Football Centre. 

Recognising the critical importance of cyber security, Sharp EIT Solutions implemented a robust security layer encompassing advanced cyber security protocols, a staff cyber security educational platform, and adherence to the Essential Eight cyber security framework – a set of mitigation strategies developed by the Australian Cyber Security Centre to enhance cyber security posture. 

At the same time, through meticulous planning and execution, the relocation process was completed efficiently, allowing Football West to resume its activities at the new facility without delays.
